Introduction
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies from some 140 countries. The vast majority of ISO standards are highly specific to a particular product, material, or process. Kyndryl meets ISO standards through normal Kyndryl practices and processes.
Kyndryl has obtained corporate certifications for ISO 9001 (quality management system), ISO 20000 (IT services management system), ISO 14001 (environmental management system), ISO 50001 (energy management system), and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management system). Kyndryl is also working to obtain a corporate wide certification for ISO 27701 (privacy information management system).
Furthermore, Kyndryl has obtained business unit certifications for ISO 22237 (Data centre facilities and infrastructure), ISO 22301 (business continuity management system), ISO 27001 (information security management system), ISO 27017 (information security controls for cloud services), ISO 27018 (PII in public clouds), ANSI/TIA -942 (Telecommunications industry association’s data centre standard), the French Health Data Security (HDS) standards and the TISAX certification.
